Things that I'm learning from my husband's family:
1) Not everything needs to be translated.
2) There are about one million types of kimchi.
3) Setting the table consists of a bowl of rice, 2 napkins each, metal chopsticks, a spoon, and tons of little bowls filled with spicy foods.
4) The air conditioning works...it's just not on.
5) Just because you're getting bottled water, doesn't mean it's the first time that bottle has been used.
Things I'm still trying to understand:
1) The rolls of toilet paper on the table of many of the rooms in the house.
2) The community ear cleaning device on the living room coffee table.
3) Glasses aren't set at the table with dinner.
4) The five different refrigerators.
5) Who invited Michael Flatley to tap dance in the kitchen bright and early on Saturday mornings (the kitchen is right above our bedroom).

I have to admit, my mother-in-law's food is seriously amazing. You definitely will have to come over sometime after things settle down here!
