So, I've calmed down a little. I still have a TON of stuff to pack, but I'm feeling a little bit better about the progress I've made.
I did have one major freak out tonight while packing.
As you could see from my previous entry, I took some pictures of our place to show all of the boxes and, well, mess.
Reviewing the pictures, I saw a bubble of light in the middle of my living room picture. I'll admit, I have watched too much Sci-Fi channel on television. But, seeing this "bubble"...and being almost delirious from packing all night, I immediately though "I'VE GOT A GHOST HANGING OUT WITH ME!!!!"
Here's the picture...
I know, I know...I'm a spazz. But, add to the picture, shivers up my arms and down my neck and back, I flashed to Sixth Sense.
Now talking to my dad calmed me down quite a bit. However, listening to Sound of Music songs on the computer...really knocked my fears back down to a low boo (sorry, I'd blame the cheesy joke on my sleepiness, but it's really just natural for me).
Back to a little more packing and then I get to sleep the rest of the night on the couch...because my bed is vertical against my bedroom wall.

I've got junk that jingle jangle jingles...
We have been packing up this weekend for our move to Maple Grove. I feel like I'm about to tip over from exhaustion or blow up from anxiety. It's just way too much for one weekend.
Anyhow, Song Min has provided the much needed muscle. I've been doing my best to pack box after box...after box. So far, I'm up to twenty-five boxes with another ten to fill. Hopefully, we'll have enough.
The movers come tomorrow to haul out the boxes and furniture. It's 11:30 PM, I have work tomorrow at 7:00 (I'll work a half day and be off by 11:00), movers arrive around noon.
Guess how much sleep I'm getting tonight? This reminds me all too much of the days back in college when we'd procrastinate our packing until the night before our ride to the airport arrived. We'd stay up all night to pack and clean (for the "white glove" inspection) and then ship out the next morning. If only I had the energy I did back then!
Back to packing!
Seriously...how did I accumulate so much junk?!?!

Song Min said...
I woke up this morning to Song Min grabbing my shoulders and saying "pounce...pounce". It always makes me smile. He had this proud little look on his face as he said "I wrote something for you on the blog". Then he ran out of the bedroom wanting me to follow. I sat at the computer and he said "read it aloud".
Song Min wrote this as a comment in my last post. I think it's so sweet that I wanted everyone to read it.
I know the blog is called Me, Myself and Song Min too. But I haven't put my voice into the blog (other than the "Hy-aye!") I'm not completely computer illiterate. I just don't know how the 'blog' works. So I've decided to put my voice in the comment section. I wanted people to hear my views about my wife. So here are ten reasons why my wife makes me smile.
10. She is so care free in front of me. She mentioned, that she dances in front of me. I have the video on my phone, and it makes me smile everytime I see it.
9. She always wants to do something nice for my family. She always asks, "Do you think your parents would like this?" or "Your brother or sister would like this?" So considerate.
8. Her manners. She knows how to act appropriately in all situations. I've been around her friends and my friends, and I get a kick watching her interact with people. She draws people close.
7. Her patience. Aside from her driving (99% of the time, I drive) She is so patient with people. Sometimes too patient. But I can't complain, because she's patient with me.
6. Her innocence. She used to write "I love you." On my skin without me knowing.
5. Her appreciation for everything. We both have big dreams and goals in life. But we can both appreciate a hot, toasty, Totina's Party Pizza.
4. Her ability to make me do crazy things. I still don't know what it is, but she can convince me to do things that I thought I would never do. Maybe it's because I don't want to disappoint her.
3. Her smile. She's a woman with a 100 smiles. Her smile has so many meanings. It can mean, "What an idiot," to "I love you."
2. Her humor. I've never experienced her kind of humor. It's from another planet. She makes me silly.
1. Her voice. I can have the worst day, but as soon as I hear her voice, I forget about my problems. When we were dating, I didn't want to present myself as a stalker. So, when I was stressed, I would call her work phone number and listen to her voicemail. This would ease my stress and anxiety. Some how I would feel like, "It's going to be okay."
I could go on. But I won't. I just wanted people to know why I married such a wonderful person.

Fun with Rachel and Song Min
We're crazy! Crazy! C R A Z Y!
I am honestly unsure if Song Min realized how silly of a girl he was marrying. I'm quite sure now...he knows.
Tonight we took goofy pictures.
"Crazy Face Night" at the Lee's
This was our attempt to make a heart out of our two heads.
This was the goofy face that Song Min made of my face...
I know, REALLY attractive. This mug is what stole Song Min's heart!
And, here's the one I made of Song Min's...
There's a high probability Song Min will shut down my blogging after he realizes that I've posted this picture, but it's SO worth the risk.
Don't YOU want in on this kind of fun?!

Aloha
So, I thought that after so many negatives in my last blog entry, I'd add something positive. This almost always points to food...ugh, no wonder I'm wearing elastic waistband pants!
My mom makes this absolutely yummy sandwich. I will take a picture the next time we have the sandwich. Until that time, please use your imagination!
This is my mother's Hawaiian sandwich.
French bread cut into desired lengths and then halved to make an open faced sandwich.
Place on the broiler pan or a cookie sheet (whatever floats your boat).
Put 1-2 layers of cut (deli) ham onto the bread.
Top the ham with slices of pineapple (canned works fabulously).
Then across top of the pineapple place a layer of swiss cheese.
Broil until the cheese has melted and has turned golden.
Take it out of the oven and let it sit for a few minutes (so that you don't get major burns on the top of your mouth, like me!).
Voila...you have one of the most delicious sandwiches ever.

Things that don't fly with me
The short list...
1. Being on time - I know, I know...it's rude and horrible and totally avoidable. You'd think that I would wake up an extra 10 minutes early so that I wouldn't be 7 minutes late (I can typically shave 3 minutes off every 10 minutes by cutting things out of my routine), but it just doesn't happen. Even if I do happen to wake up 10 minutes early, I'll still be late. I don't know how it happens, but it does.
2. Math - Apparently, when math skills were handed out, I was late. I actually don't think that I'm bad at math...I just don't care enough to put in the effort.
3. The smell after it rains - I don't understand people who say after it rains "it smells so refreshing". I find the smell after it rains gross. It smells like earthworms and triggers my gag reflex. Yuck!
4. Red heads - With the exception of my friends Marla and Megan (and children), I don't seem to get along well with red headed people. I consider myself a laid back, easy going kind of person. I get along with all sorts of people. Stick me in a room with a red headed person for an hour and you'll probably find me on the opposite side of the room with my eyeballs looking like they're about to pop out. By the way, you can go ahead add Australians to this category too. Red headed Australians = THE WORST...I'll leave out the name, but if you know this person...you know!
5. Tissues without the "Plus" - I'm an allergy freak. If the wind blows, the humidity goes up, the dust settles, any living creature walks by...I will sneeze. Given the frequency of my nose blowing, I have the RIGHT to be picky about my tissue preference.
6. People who sign their emails with their initials - WHY CAN'T YOU SIGN YOUR NAME?! Are you SO busy that instead of writing, let's say...Mark, you have to sign MVK? Silly.
7. Tuesdays - They come every week, but they are my least favorite day. Most people hate Mondays. Frankly, I don't mind them. Yes, it's the beginning of the work week...but there HAS to be a first day of the week. Tuesdays, there's nothing special about Tuesdays. It's still the beginning of the week, but it doesn't get the glory of being a Monday.
8. January 31st - Yeah, it's just another day. To me, January 31st is the first day of the official "Blahs". The first part of January, I'm still coming off of the holiday highs. By the end of January, I'm done with the snow...I'm done with the color gray outside...I'm done with the cold. Heaven help us all when January 31st lands on a Tuesday (2012)!
9. Cool beans - I had a manager years ago who would always say "cool beans". What a stupid thing to say! If you insist on saying "cool beans", please be prepared for a dirty look.
10. Toilet lids left up - Most people don't realize this, but germs and bacteria spray up to 20 feet from the toilet bowl upon flushing. Nasty!!! Put the cover down! The one exception, if you have a dog that drinks out of the toilet (this gives you a slight excuse...hey, it's their water fountain).
11. People who stop while trying to merge - I know that there are certainly times when it is essential to come to a complete stop when merging...like when the person ahead of you is stopped waiting for that BIG gap. I see very little point in stopping. Put your blinker on and speed up...and merge!

And if that diamond ring don't shine...
So, the concert of the century turned out to be a little less than what I had hoped. It was more like the concert of the week...maybe concert of the month.
I have to give the man credit...Neil is touring at age 67 (I mean sheesh, he's just barely older than my parents! Ha ha!). Even at age 32, I don't know how I would pull off a big long tour. I think that by the third city, I'd need adrenaline shots straight to the heart. So, I understand why his performance didn't include acrobatics and high kicks.
Still, Neil did a pretty nice job. The music was fabulous. The energy in the Xcel Center was crazy. The fans around me were all that I had hoped and dreamed (plenty of sparkle in the crowd!).
Neil worked the crowd with statements like "we're here to make a beautiful noise together" and "I'm here because of you" (as he pointed in every direction). He didn't break out many dance moves, in fact, for the most part, dancing was merely shuffling back and forth. He's really more of an arm movement kinda guy anyway. There was lots of pointing and hands in the air. I think that his biggest dance move was some stomping during "Brother Love's Traveling Salvation Show" (which was a special encore piece).
Highest energy song was "Sweet Caroline". I don't believe that I have ever seen so many people with hands in the air waving in unison side to side. Cheesiest moments included "Comin' to America" with an eagle soaring on the big screen behind him, and "You Don't Bring Me Flowers" sitting alone at a table with water in a wine glass (seriously he sat there for maybe twenty seconds before he got up...scrap it Neil).
All in all, the concert was entertaining. Especially watching the crazy lady two rows down who danced the ENTIRE concert and argued with the ushers because she wanted to take pictures. I am glad that I was able to see Neil live...and I was very happy for him when the performance was over and he could take some Ibuprofen and go to bed.
Goodnight Mr. Diamond...goodnight.

Roll with me baby...
So, ever since Song Min and I were married, I have found that we have different philosophies on what the proper way is to hang the toilet paper roll. We haven't ever talked about the way we each think that the toilet paper should hang. We just do it differently.
To be perfectly honest, Song Min typically avoids putting it on altogether and instead sets the roll on the floor. However, in the instances when he does hang the toilet paper roll up...he prefers the under hang (rolls toward the wall).
Mind you, I don't know if there is a "right" or "wrong" way to hang the toilet paper. I have always believed, however, that the toilet paper roll should have the over hang (rolls toward the toilet). It seems to be the most hmmm...ergonomic way to dispense toilet paper. And, if the professionals, (meaning the housekeeping staff at hotels) do it that way, I roll with them.
Okay, so I haven't wanted to get into a debate over something as silly as the proper way to roll the toilet paper. However, when Song Min puts the toilet paper on the "wrong" way, I always make sure to change it to the "right" way. I've just thought that this would be one of those things in marriage that I would overlook.
Well, folks, I'm here to tell you that my husband has done it on his own. I walked into the bathroom this evening and there on the wall was this...
Perhaps he put the toilet paper on his way and finally realized it's easier to dispense the other way. Perhaps he was watching the Home and Garden channel and someone said something about it on a show (unlikely, but you never know). Perhaps it was just a fluke!
My thought, Song Min noticed that he was being corrected time and time again...and decided to change.
Good boy. Good boy.
Now for the toilet seat...

I see you...nope, that's me again!
I don't keep a lot of "extras" at my desk. I don't have millions of photos or fun figurines or anything. I have a lamp and a mirror...both functional items. My mirror sits next to my computer screen, placed strategically so that I can see if anyone is standing in my doorway.
During my first year of employment here, my neck got a lot of exercise. Whenever anyone walked by my doorway, I would whip my head around to see who it was. Since I'm along a busy hallway...this occurred, oh about every ten seconds.
I have since placed a small mirror next to my computer monitor. Now, I can see anyone behind me AND avoid looking like a paranoid freak.
The problem is that I also have an issue with mirrors. I can't stop looking at myself when they are around. I don't know if it is vanity, curiosity (because maybe my face looks different RIGHT NOW), or a nervous tick. I peek into the stupid mirror all of the time!
Sometimes I catch myself before looking and make a face. Sometimes I just glance into it and see a blank look on my face. And then there are the times when I see the tip of my shoulder move in the mirror and I look because of the movement (I'm apparently like a cat...you should call me Whiskers!).
Anyhow, I don't know what's up with me...and the me in the mirror, but I'm beginning to wonder if I should just put away the mirror, slap on the crown, and take my place as Miss Paranoia USA again.

Sleep Park
I thought that I would clear the air about my "sleeping" on the job from an earlier post. Though I would LOVE to take a nap under my desk or even sitting up in my chair, it's just not happening. While in the office, my opportunity to blink is the closest thing to sleep that I get.
However, when I am exhausted (I mean head bobbing and ears ringing tired), I will occasionally (only in the nice months) drive my car down the little park down the street from my office during lunch. During the noon hour, Hidden Pond Park, is the hot spot for sleep deprived employees from around the area. The trick is to get there a little bit before noon, or all of the shady parking spots will be taken.
You may think that this is weird, but it's an honest to goodness hoppin' place. There are always (at least when I've been there) fifteen to twenty people parked there - windows halfway down, seats reclined, and sunglasses on (because that TOTALLY disguises the fact that you're zonked out at the park!). I would say that 70% of the people snoozing at the park are employees of my company. I've seen marketing people, IT people, R&D Lab people, Credit/Finance people, Sales people from other divisions...it's a more popular destination at lunch time than the McDonald's across the street from the office.
So, no...I'm not at any risk of being caught by my boss zonked out at my desk. But, if you happen to be in Chanhassen between noon and one, there's a slight chance that you'll see my Mazda in the second furthest parking spot under the trees at Hidden Pond Park - windows only a quarter of the way down (because I'm paranoid), sunglasses on, mouth probably wide open (I have a deviated septum), and driver's seat reclined so that you can only see the top of my head peaking above the window.
You may think it's silly, but 20-30 minutes of hardcore napping in the park is HEAVEN!

DJ Rae Funk...spinnin'
Every once in a while, to my husband's delight and horror (yeah, delight AND horror), we'll listen to MY music.
I start off light, with songs from two albums that my parents bought for me and my sister when we were kids. Some of the songs are sort of familiar to Song Min, so he goes along with it.
"Music Machine" and "Bullfrogs and Butterflies"
He's even game when I break out songs from the soundtrack "Sound of Music"...because let's face it, no one sings like Julie Andrews (my neighbors will agree with this statement, as I'm not quite as easy to listen to while belting out "The Lonely Goatherd").
If the dancing hasn't already started...it kicks in now. The thing is, I don't dance in front of people. I am well aware that I look stiff and awkward when I dance, so I just don't do it (in public). At home, however, I will bust out the moves.
Typically, my dancing is to songs that really aren't "dance songs". My true dancing...the "behind closed doors" dancing, usually starts out with some harmless skipping, maybe some clapping and I'll even throw in some snapping - you know, to get warmed up. If I really get going (perhaps a sugar high or something), I will pull out the big guns and start pulling out moves from the Rick's College square dancing club...yes, I said square dancing club. I should go ahead and note that our square wasn't an official square in the club. Thinking back, I don't believe we were really a welcome square by any of the other "Circle K" members. Hmmm...jerks!
The heavy hitters - with these songs, I lose Song Min. He gets this funny look on his face. In all honesty, it's a cross between hysterical laughing, embarrassment, and horror. It's really the only time that I actually believe that Song Min thinks to himself "why did I marry this one?"
These are the songs that really get the party started. These are the songs that make up "My Ultimate Party Mix":
"Sneaky Snake Goes Dancing"
Neil Diamond's "Forever in Blue Jeans" and "Cracklin Rosie"
"Elvira" by the Oakridge Boys
Perhaps a little Johnny Cash singing "Ring of Fire"
And the music of the lyrical genius... Mr. Kenny Rogers singing hits like "The Gambler" and one of my absolute favorites..."Coward of the County"
(pre-plastic surgery...why Kenny? WHY?!?!)
You may be thinking to yourself, "doesn't sound like a party mix to me".
All I have to say is...that's why it's MY party!

Stranger danger...
My friend Marla and I have known one another since junior high school. She was a friend from church, but we also took piano from the same wonderful...but slightly wacky teacher, Mrs. Erickson (more on Mrs. Erickson in a future blog).
Marla and I went out for lunch in this little city called Excelsior on Saturday. After lunch, we walked around the city, because the weather was beautiful and they were having sidewalk sales. As we walked toward the end of the street, we noticed a man walking a little too close behind us.
Now, for most people, like Marla, she just thought, "weirdo walking behind us...move away". For paranoid crazies like me, four thoughts raced through my head: 1) mugger 2) rapist 3) kidnapper 4) murderer! I don't know if I've just been watching way too much Law and Order, but anytime I feel someone behind me that makes me a little uncomfortable like that...those four thoughts pop into my head.
In the end, the man was probably just a oddball that doesn't know that people have boundaries. However, in my mind, he was about to pull out some sort of lethal weapon and threaten to kill us if we didn't get into his black cargo van with tinted windows. It was a narrow escape!
Thanks to my friend Marla for a good and SAFE afternoon in Excelsior.

I think we're alone now...
I keep writing this post over and over again with different little stories. Turns out, I don't have an entertaining enough story that will go along with this picture. I just wanted to insert this picture.
This was taken about a month ago, outside our friend Lisa's place. I took the picture thinking that the lights from Downtown Minneapolis would be captured, but it turned out to just be a picture of the two if us in the darkness. It's not a great picture of either of us, but I think it's sort of nice.

Because he makes me laugh
So, this video is unfortunately very dark. However, the audio is enough to give you a good idea of how much fun I have with Song Min. The video is just of him kicking his leg up into the air, but I loved the "hi-ya" that went along with it. It's probably not as funny to anyone else...but I wanted to show you how much fun I have with my husband.

Sometimes it's hard to put one foot in front of the other
Yes, I have been known to be a clutz. Actually, I'm very well known as a clumsy person. I try...oh, how I try! Somehow, one foot in front of the other, translates to one foot in front of my face. English is hard. About six months ago, one of my coworkers asked me a question while I was walking to my office. Well, not only did I trip, but my shoe somehow started to fall off, I went to slip it back on and I fell again. At my old company, I managed to throw ice water across the floor of the accounting office, as I made my way down to the carpet. So, when someone sent me this video, I had to keep it and share it with the world. If it happened at Fashion Week...I think that means that I'm really stylin'?

Ask me...I like to help!
Random questions of the day...
Why doesn't the face of my watch ever stay centered on my wrist?
Why is it that when I look in the mirror, my forehead reflects back?
Why do I eat ice cream when I know all too well that my stomach and intestines have an alliance and WILL declare a war on any dairy that slides into their territory?
How can I crave a nap all day, then get home and stay up until the cows come home?
Who says "until the cows come home" anymore?
Why is it that I want my bed to be cool at night and warm in the morning?
How can I be friendly and nice to the most annoying people...and yet honk and swear (yes, I said swear) at complete strangers when driving?
How is it that I can forget to take off my shoes when I walk into the house, but the second I sit down in my office...off come the shoes?
Why is it that Gap's "Perfect Fit" jeans don't ever fit?
Why are McDonald's french fries so delicious until they get cold...then they are completely inedible? I know this because I tried several that I found on the seat of the station wagon as a kid...you think it's a tasty surprise, but the joke's on you!
How is it that I make it through each day as a fairly normal person, even though my head is chock full of crazy?!

Aren't you going to put bait on that?!
For Song Min's 35th birthday in May, I bought him a rod and reel, a tackle box, a multi-purpose tool, a filet knife, and all of the other little things that go along with being a successful fisherman...well, minus the boat (maybe another year dear!). At the same time, I bought a second rod and reel that I could use, or another family member or a friend (but, let's face it, he's really not allowed to go anywhere without me, so it's MINE!...joking).
Since Song Min's birthday, we've been out fishing a handful of times. The first couple of times we went out, we had no success. While on a picnic with Song Min's family, we made another attempt at catching something...anything. One of the guys on the dock told us that he hadn't ever seen anyone catch a fish with artificial lures from the dock. So, being the friendly person that I am, I politely asked the man sitting next to me if I could try using one of his live creatures. I would write exactly what it was, but I really don't know. It was a worm-esque creature, but not really. I did my best to NOT look because I really didn't want to see it. Obviously, I don't bait my own hook!
Well, luck was on my side...I caught my first fish (maybe four of them). They were tiny and were tossed back into the lake. My mother-in-law took a turn and also caught several little fish. Poor Song Min didn't catch a thing. The positive though was that now we knew the secret.
I should go ahead and let you all know right now, I actually am EXTREMELY sensitive about living things. I really have no interest in seeing something alive, only to see it on my plate later on. I'm no vegetarian, but if I were introduced to Bessy the morning of a big steak dinner...I would probably stick with a nice salad and baked potato. Heck, I can't even kill bugs. When I do HAVE to do something about a bug, I wrap it loosely in toilet paper and flush it with the words "good luck" whispered to it (you never know...it could live!).
You may be asking yourself, why did Rachel get herself a rod and reel if she doesn't want to hurt the fish. The answer, I really don't like catching fish. I like the whole casting and reeling in process. So, while Song Min uses live bait...I stick with the never catch artificial jobbies.
So, about two weeks ago, Song Min caught his first fish of the season. By the end of the night, he had five decent sized fish. These bad boys were deemed "keepers". Song Min put them into the cooler that was in the trunk of our car and we drove to find the nearest store to buy ice. The entire trek to the grocery store, I could hear those poor little fish flopping their bodies around in the cooler. In fact, I was so disturbed by the slow death taking place in our car, that I turned on the radio to muffle the sound. Song Min put ice over the fish and we were on our way again. I managed to convince Song Min that taking these fish to his mother's house would be a GREAT plan. She would make soup out of the fish...and I wouldn't have fresh death in MY freezer. We dropped off the fish at my in-law's place and we drove home.
The next day, Song Min let me know that he was no longer just a fisherman...he was an angler (which I'm pretty sure, in "fish" language, means murderer). I'll still claim him as my husband, but will likely never eat any of the fresh fish that comes our way.

Bratwurst and kimchi and baba ganoush...oh my!
First of all...
Happy Independence Day!
Cue the fireworks display
Cue Lee Greenwood "God Bless the USA"
We were extended a warm invitation to attend a barbecue at my sister-in-law's new house for the Fourth. The subject of the email read "Celebrate the Fourth with a little kimchi". This wasn't a big surprise, as the entire Lee family was invited. However, along with our Lee family, was Song Kyong's (my sister-in-law) husband's family...also the Lee family (not Korean).
This barbecue wasn't your typical hot dog and hamburger grill out. Along with bratwurst and the more exotic chicken/apple/maple syrup bratwurst, we found orzo salad, mahi mahi, hummas, pita, baba ganoush, kimchi, kimbap, sauerkraut, red cabbage salad, and pickled garlic. Dessert was strawberry rhubarb pie, watermelon, and Dairy Queen Dilly Bars. Korean was spoken, as well as English, and English with a British accent. The evening was a wonderful mix of culture, all placed together in Song Kyong and Rob's red, white and blue (seriously) house. It was a pretty neat symbol of the diversity of this great nation.
(Cue Mr. Neil Diamond singing "They're Comin' to America")
As the sentimental part of me relishes in the sybolism of the nation that I experienced, my stomach is now reminding me that when it comes to food..."East meets Midwest meets Middle East" have no place being united together in my tummy!
Ugh...
How do you spell relief again???

My eyes...they sting!
I am cursed...yes, I said cursed.
A PLAGUE UPON BOTH YOUR EYELIDS!
Every night, I manage to get this big boost of energy, propelling me from 7:00 until well after midnight. My mind always whispers to me "gosh, you should really probably go to bed", but some little energy monster within me screams with wild abandon "it's party time!" So, I end up going to bed at a completely unreasonable time, (typically between 12:30 and 1:30). I can hear my mother gasping from 12 miles away!
Fast forward (which is really what it feels like, because it doesn't seem like I slept at all) four or five and a half hours, when the alarm on my cell phone (because it's 2008 and alarm clocks are so pre-2000) goes off with a somewhat gentle tune (I say "somewhat" simply because NO alarm is gentle if it wakes Sleeping Beauty!). With my absolute best effort, I will roll out of bed at 6:06. Most days, however, I end up "snoozing" until 6:16 or 6:26 if I'm REALLY dragging.
This morning was a 6:26 morning. I scrambled to the shower, trying desperately to think of any possible excuse that would justify calling into work...or at least delaying my arrival by two hours. By the time I get out of the shower, I always think, "I'm already wet, I might as well finish off the process and go to work".
So now, I'm here. I feel like my eyelids weigh about twelve tons. My brain is seriously on power save. Once I'm finished typing out this blog entry, I plan to sit quietly at my desk, hands on the keyboard, eyes wide shut! Some may say that it's sleeping. I call it resting my eyes.
It's ergonomics!
As always, I plan to go to bed early tonight. Chances of that actually happening...

May the force be with you
The Science Museum of Minnesota has a Star Wars exhibit displayed now, through...well, I don't know when. To be frank, I'm really tired and have little to no humor left for the day. The only thing that is driving my fingers to tap down on the keyboard is the excitement of showing the pictures from my night out with the boyzz (Robert and Song Min).
First of all, we picked up Robert and made the trek out to St. Paul. We ended up having dinner at Cosetta's, which is one of my family's favorite restaurants. Here's a picture of Robert and Song Min at the restaurant.
We finished up dinner and then headed over to the Science Museum. Our first stop, straight for the reason behind our trip, the Star Wars exhibit. Here are some pictures:
Pictures of Chewy and the Wookies...
Had to snap a picture of Darth Vader
We found this backpack in the gift shop and each tried it on. I wanted to buy it, but reason prevailed and I left the museum sans Yoda backpack.
Another picture in the gift shop. I love the eyes!
We made Robert stop and have his picture taken with this random lady display.
This was a highlight...
One of the workers at the exhibit was REALLY into his job.
Here he is about to nail Robert with his light saber. Sorry about the pit stain...apparently he was NOT Arid Extra Dry.
Some goofy pictures in the museum...
As you can probably see, we all had a great time together at the Science Museum. And now I'm going to bed.
ZZZZzzzzzzzzz...
