So, most people find mice and kill them or release them back into the wilderness...away from the house. During this emotionally charged summer, we (Sally and I) found a little mouse on the staircase in the basement. Seriously, the little creature was barely moving and obviously starving. I freaked out and put a Tupperware over it and slid the top under it. It spent the next couple of days under a fruit keeper. We fed her nuts and cheese and granola. Then, the fateful day came when I had to make a decision on what to do with the mouse. I felt like letting her go would be a death sentence. I mean, she was a very slow moving mouse, and I thought the cold October nights would kill her. So...we kept her. I bought a mouse cage, complete with a wheel, food and nesting material. I even looked online to find out if she was a boy or a girl. Seriously people, I totally dug the mouse. On October 31st, after only a couple of months, poor Mouse met her demise. I don't know if it was from something she ate, old age, or perhaps the fact that I let Sally roll her around in the plastic ball...but, Halloween morning, I found her cold and stiff as a board. Mouse's final resting place is in the woods behind our house near a rock. She would have liked being in the woods...especially, since she's out of Sally's reach permanently.

Gross! Gross! Gross! I am glad you are a compassionate person but I am afraid I am not when it comes to mice.
Oh! You have such a tender heart. How sweet! By the way, happy birthday to us on Thursday. I hope Song Min spoils you!
