Aaahhh...aaaahhh....AAAAHHH CHOOOO!!!!
We were recently hit with two nasty cold fronts here at the Lee household. Outside, temperatures dropped well below zero. Inside, Puffs Plus, Alka Seltzer Cold wrappers and sniffles.
Over the seven + months of marriage, I have found that Song Min and I think of "comfort foods" as totally different things. When I am sick, I want things like my grandma's mashed potatoes with my mom's gravy...or a bowl of my grandma's red Jell-o and some orange juice. Song Min wants spicy kimchi soup, spicy Ramen or Indian food.
I remember the first time I was really sick after Song Min and I started dating. My stomach was turning and my head felt like it was about to explode. Song Min sat a bowl of soup in front of me and said that it would soothe my stomach. I took one tiny sip and I could feel the burn all the way to my stomach. It was probably the spiciest soup I had every tasted. Needless to say, my first sip was my last that day. Though the soup didn't make me feel any better, his attempt to help me definitely did.
