Robert is the baby of the family. He's hardly a baby any longer, he's 27 and he's a big guy. He's got his Associate's Degree in Website Design and he's livin' la vida loca in his own place (well, shared with his whacky cat Runaway) in the beautiful city of Hopkins.
As a kid, Robert was my personal favorite live action toy. Favorite memory of Robert when we were young...my sister Jessica and I loved LOVED to slap a dress and a bonnet on Robert and call him Roberta. The best was always calling my grandma (who moved into the house when I was in second grade) to ask her to come up to see us. She'd always pop up in a few minutes and we would unveil Roberta. She would always laugh and talk to Robert as if he were a she. In response, Robert would raise his already high little boy voice and greet Grandma. The BEST was when Grandpa would also come up. Grandpa's response to seeing his grandson dressed up like a pioneer girl was about as warm as the time I sat and watched Edward Scissorhands with him. He didn't want to see it, but loved us enough to go along with it.
Another favorite memory of "The Boy", (as I call him), is of playing hide and seek with Robert and Grandma. I'd be counting and counting..."ready or not, here I come!". I'd walk into the play room and there in the corner was Grandma and Robert under a blanket. Robert would get so giddy about it that he'd start laughing hysterically. Grandma would try to get him to restrain the giggling...because it was literally blowing their cover (the blanket bounce up and down). However, even with the laughing hushed to a low roar...the four foot lump gave them away.
Anyhow, this is my shout out to The Boy. Yo!

Your shout out brought back old memories of our visits to your house, back in the day. I always loved hanging out with you, Jessica, and Robert.
