Whadjyagit

Back in high school I had an English teacher who had a few "words" that he hated to hear. Number one on his list was whadjyagit. He explained that whadjyagit is the teenager's contraction of the words what did you get. The example that he used was: whadjyagit on the test? So, whenever I have a test, I think of whadjyagit.

Moving on...

Over the last seven days, I've been to the doctor's office a few times, with more visits on the way. Last Friday, I went to get my blood pressure medication changed because I was assaulting my husband while I slept. This inspired my physician to also order an echocardiogram. That turned up the fact that my heart had an arrhythmia and that my heart chambers were enlarged. So, this ended me up in the cardiologist's office today with my mother. The visit with him has resulted in blood tests, an MRA (which is apparently something like an MRI), and a 24 hour jug o' fun (a.k.a. urine analysis). The cardiologist thought that one of the arteries to my kidneys might be blocked, but we'll know more next week. Three days of tests next week...I'm hoping that it turns out with SOME result!
