Roll with me baby...

So, ever since Song Min and I were married, I have found that we have different philosophies on what the proper way is to hang the toilet paper roll. We haven't ever talked about the way we each think that the toilet paper should hang. We just do it differently.

To be perfectly honest, Song Min typically avoids putting it on altogether and instead sets the roll on the floor. However, in the instances when he does hang the toilet paper roll up...he prefers the under hang (rolls toward the wall).

Mind you, I don't know if there is a "right" or "wrong" way to hang the toilet paper. I have always believed, however, that the toilet paper roll should have the over hang (rolls toward the toilet). It seems to be the most hmmm...ergonomic way to dispense toilet paper. And, if the professionals, (meaning the housekeeping staff at hotels) do it that way, I roll with them.

Okay, so I haven't wanted to get into a debate over something as silly as the proper way to roll the toilet paper. However, when Song Min puts the toilet paper on the "wrong" way, I always make sure to change it to the "right" way. I've just thought that this would be one of those things in marriage that I would overlook.

Well, folks, I'm here to tell you that my husband has done it on his own. I walked into the bathroom this evening and there on the wall was this...



Perhaps he put the toilet paper on his way and finally realized it's easier to dispense the other way. Perhaps he was watching the Home and Garden channel and someone said something about it on a show (unlikely, but you never know). Perhaps it was just a fluke!

My thought, Song Min noticed that he was being corrected time and time again...and decided to change.

Good boy. Good boy.

Now for the toilet seat...
